NZA Brillant
Anti-rust coating that is very rich in zinc; used for cold galvanising to protect all metallic parts.
ADVANTAGES
- Packaging of 1 kg tins and 5 kg buckets comply with DIRECTIVE 2004/42/EC – category i: special function single-component coating, VOC rate < 500g/l (2010).
- Dries rapidly.
- Can be painted over.
- Leads to durable passivation of treated surfaces, which is strengthened over time through formation of a ferrous-zinc alloy.
- Formulated from zinc flakes.
- Shiny metallic aspect.
- Resists chemical products (except strong acids), the elements and corrosion extremely well.
- Complies with ISO 12944 standards.
- Provides safer handling than butane canisters.
- Gives better coverage than ‘Galva butane,’ with approx. 30% more active product.
APPLICATION FIELDS
- Rails, highway runners, welded joints on galvanised parts, agricultural frames and equipment.
- Chain link fences, barriers, piping, reservoirs and any metal structure requiring galvanising protection.
- All metal surfaces (iron, steel, galvanised metals and light alloys) particularly exposed to humid and marine environments.
- Not to be applied to surfaces subjected to temperatures >200°C.
- Galvanisation of new constructions or retouching after damage, shock or soldering.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Remove all pulverulent rust, scale, and grease from the surface of the metal.
- Apply product to clean and dry surfaces using a brush, roller, or aerosol.
Aerosol: Shake well for 1 minute so that the pea can mix the product.
Spray the product evenly, approximately 20 cm from the surface. Do not allow product to run.
After use, quickly turn the aerosol upside down and press the actuator to empty the valve.
Propellant GAS: non-flammable = CO₂.
